1.  Situation sanitaire

For every 100 people in Singapore as of 14 September 2021, 84 have received their first dose and 81 are fully vaccinated. Despite the high vaccination rates, infection cases are currently rising on the island and travel to Singapore is still highly restrictive with only qualifying travelers under a few SafeTravel lanes being allowed to enter.

The SafeTravel Lanes include:

1)      Returning Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents

2)      General Entry for Long Term Pass Holders and Immediate Relatives of Singapore Citizens/PRs

3)      Short-Term Business Visits

  • Air Travel Pass – No controlled itinerary. Only for foreigners travelling from Hong Kong, Macao, Mainland China, and Taiwan
  • Reciprocal Green Lane – Controlled itinerary. Only for short-term essential business and official travel from Brunei, and Mainland China (Only for travelers from Chongqing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Tianjin and Zhejiang)
  • Vaccinated Travel Lane – For fully vaccinated travelers from Brunei and Germany wit very limited number of travelers allowed in.

The majority of travelers into Singapore are subjected to pre-departure and on-arrival COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, Antigen Rapid Test (ART) self-swab tests, and 14-days self-isolation in Stay-Home-Notice (SHN) dedicated facilities at their own expense. The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority has provided a self-help tool that allows anyone to check if they qualify under any SafeTravel lanes. Any changes to  border measures will be updated on the SafeTravel website (https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/).
