Croatian Competitiveness Clusters Summary

A competitiveness cluster enables companies from similar sectors to connect and mutually develop. It is in most cases based on the triple-helix principle with companies from the R&D sector, private and public sector. In rarer cases, it is based on the quadruple-helix with the addition of knowledge-based institutions. Clusters can be initiated on the bottom-up or top-down principle.
