Dernières élections nationales

Présidentielles, nationales et régionales le 9 août 2022. William Ruto a été élu cinquième président de la République du Kenya après une courte victoire (50,49 %). La Cour Suprême a rejeté toutes les plaintes, y compris celles de l'opposant Raila Odinga.  W. Ruto a prêté serment le 13 septembre 2022 et son gouvernement est entré en fonction le 27 octobre 2022.

Principaux partis politiques

Au Kenya, les partis politiques représentent une tribu ou une région plutôt qu'une idéologie. Les alliances changeantes sont une caractéristique du système politique kenyan.

Lors de l'élection présidentielle de 2022, le plus grand parti était la coalition de William Ruto.
